Impressive pro-level skating, intensity and anticipation on both sides of the puck helped him reach the NHL before his 20th birthday. The goal-scoring ability he showed in junior hockey has translated well against NHL goaltenders, and he is more than willing to take the shot when he has the opportunity. Wasted no time showing he belongs in the NHL and is capable of carrying his own weight while playing up in the lineup.
